Royal Mithai was created with a simple idea: to offer quality Indian sweets that people can enjoy, share and gift for every occasion.
The Heart of Royal Mithai
Royal Mithai opened its first outlet at Bagatelle Mall in November 2023, with a passion for bringing authentic Indian mithai closer to Mauritius. What began with one location has grown rapidly, and today Royal Mithai is present in 11 locations across the island, supported by a team of around 40 people.
At the heart of what we do is a respect for traditional mithai-making. Our artisans bring Indian craftsmanship and experience, working alongside our Mauritian team to combine authentic know-how with local savoir-faire and an understanding of the tastes and diversity of Mauritius. Royal Mithai’s approach has consistently focused on traditional techniques, carefully selected ingredients and maintaining quality while continuing to introduce new creations. Our sweets have become part of many different moments; from a simple box to share at home to Diwali, weddings, corporate gifting and special celebrations. Over the years, we have also had the privilege of serving prestigious clients and renowned institutions for important occasions.
As we continue to grow, our focus remains the same: quality, authenticity, variety and making every box of mithai something people are happy to give, share and enjoy.
